Passionate about all things design, Cydney injects aspects of her client’s personality and stories into her designs, creating an intriguing and personalized atmosphere.
Cydney’s first love is architecture; intrigued by how a space can make you feel, she perused studies in Interior Design when she moved to Vancouver Island in the 1990s.
Prior to studying interior design, Cydney was a graduate of Sheridan College and had a career in the fashion industry in Toronto and Vancouver. After working in varying capacities in Victoria for several years, she decided to start her own interior design business.
Cydney’s motto is “Form follows function.” Starting with the space planning, exposures, flow, storage, etc., she works with clients to bring their unique personalities to the space before tackling colour and materials that bring it all together.
With the constant attention to budget and the juggling of the myriad of decisions to be made, Cydney loves to help imbue fun into each of her projects.
